Medserv was established in 2001 with partnership of three healthcare professionals. In 2007, Medserv was incorporated as a Private limited company. Starmed corporate office is situated in Islamabad while branch offices are located in Doha, Qatar.

Medserv started its journey by providing technical services in Angiography, radiology imaging, sterilization and surgery. Later on, the services were extended to maintenance contracts, sales of new and refurbished medical equipment.
